Tag is about the love of childhood and friendship. Five grown men have been playing the same game of tag for the last 30 years. Every year, they play for the entire month of May. This year it’s a little different because their friend Jerry (Jeremy Renner) who has never been tagged is also getting married-in May. Will his friends try to ruin his wedding for the sake of a childish game or will they except defeat and admit Jerry can never be tagged?
Tag is a light-hearted comedy that you watch with your buddies in your spare time. That’s what I did. We had our laughs and thought it was quite entertaining. It was full of comedians that we liked and the jokes kept us engaged. The ending felt a little bit forced, as there was no build up to it. I get that it was a twist, but there were no clear hints or indicators of it ending on such a sad note. Overall, this movie was just okay. I would give it a 5/10. It’s one of those movies you watch when you’re bored and looking for something decent to watch.
