Looking for an easy delicious vegan brownie recipe? Well, I’ve got the perfect one for you. It’s highly likely you already have all these ingredients in your pantry, so grab them and get started!
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk ( I used soy because I was out of almond and oat milk, you can use any milk of your choice)
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (but if you prefer extra sweet brownies, add 1 full cup)
- 1/2 cup melted semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2teaspoon baking powder
In a bowl, mix together your dry ingredients ( flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder). Next, add all the wet ingredients and stir. I suggest adding the melted chocolate chips last, as its easier to mix if you’re mixing by hand. After mixing all the ingredients, add the batter into a greased pan ( I used PAM no-stick cooking spray).
Let the brownies bake for about 20-25 minutes on 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Keep in mind these brownies are VERY soft. I think you’ll LOVE them!!!
I love to bake, although eating sweets doesn’t really float my boat ( I know, it’s odd). I did taste a piece and it was really good, way better than I expected. The inside was soft and gooey and they didn’t fall apart. In the past, I’ve tried several eggless recipes but most of them were unsuccessful and typically fell apart. However, this brownie recipe did not disappoint! Since I’m not a big fan of sweets, my sister was more than willing to try them and she loved them! She couldn’t tell they were eggless or even vegan! I really hope you try this recipe, it will not disappoint!!!
