Cheddar Biscuits

I would like to start off by saying this recipe was inspired by a Tik Tok that I watched. These Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit copy cats are super delicious and make the perfect Thanksgiving side! They’re sure to impress and require minimal effort. Keep reading for the recipe.


2 cups Flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 stick of cold butter

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I used Colby Jack)

A handful of parsley ( fresh parsley or parsley flakes both work )

1 cup of milk

( Once the biscuits are done baking, brush them with melted butter with parsley and garlic powder).


Start by adding 2 cups of flour, garlic powder, salt, and baking powder to the bowl and whisk.

Next, add-in 1 stick of cold butter sliced and knead until you have a sand-like consistency.

Once you have a sand-like consistency add cheese, parsley, and milk to the mixture and combine.

After well combining the ingredients, add to a prepared baking tray and bake until golden brown  (between 16-20 minutes) the time will vary based on the density of the biscuits you’ve prepared.

Lastly, brush with the butter mixture and voila, you have perfectly delicious cheddar biscuits!
