Get your brunch on with some serious comfort food. Hatch, located in Long Island, NY, is a super cheerful restaurant that is sure to brighten up your day. Hatch is most known for their famous Dunkaroos style French toast that’ll transport you back to your childhood. In fact, the entire restaurant is nostalgic and cheery with a bright yellow theme and wacky cartoons at the bar! The overall experience offers a great time with friends- what’s not to love?

The menu sounded so delicious, we had a hard time picking. Their eggs benedict variations were overwhelming (in a good way), so we had the benedict Arnold. Of course there was a poached egg with ham, hash browns, and hollandaise sauce on an English muffin. This was my first time trying eggs benedict and let me tell you, it was amazing! The creamy hollandaise was a dream to devour. Next, we had to try Hatch’s Dunkaroos French toast. A mixture of Dunkaroos frosting, graham crackers, and sprinkles in each bite- talk about heavenly. The flavors made me feel like a kid again. Additionally, we ordered the country breakfast skillet. It was a hearty scramble bake of smoked bacon, sausage, hash browns, veggies, and a whole lotta cheddar. This completed the large meal and had us ready for a nap!

How can you not die over the bacon and honey bear decals?!

However, the drinks saved us from food comas. We got a mimosa and bloody Mary, classic brunch drinks! They were the perfect palette cleansers to cut the richness of that decadent spread. Hatch is the perfect brunch spot to get together with friends. The atmosphere transports you back to the 90s with fun art and old-school cartoons playing by the bar. Grab your besties and enjoy the trip down memory lane this weekend!
