Westchester’s Winter Wonderland

Calling all Christmas lovers! ‘Tis the season for family fun time involving winter outdoor activities. With Christmas right around the corner and the kids off for Winter Break, now is the perfect time to take a trip to explore the North Pole brought to Westchester!

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland caters to Christmas lovers of all ages by including the Winter Wonderland Circus, Santa’s Village where children can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus in the workshop, the Lights of Wonder light show, and FUNderland Village full of rides for youngsters and a ferris wheel for all. 🎑  ThereΒ  is also a giant menorah to commemorate the nights to Hanukah, a tall Christmas tree that dancers perform live in front of, and an ice skating rink with rental equipment available.

Winter Wonderland’s Circus acts have you at the edge of your seat with cliff-hanging acts like the one above as well as entertaining acts. Thankfully this gymnast’s act is not as dangerous as the act of multiple motorbikes being ridden in a caged sphere. There is a highly talented juggler, a woman who does magical outfit changes, and a comic clown. Right when you exit the circus, there are real reindeer who meet you halfway to the ice rink; unfortunately, you can’t pet these reindeer, but they truly transports you to a winter wonderland. πŸ¦Œβ„οΈ

Hot cocoa + cold weather= best wintery moment of the season πŸ’™

We definitely can’t forget about the foods and treats at the Winter Wonderland event. Think fair food with winter additions: hearty hot dogs, Italian sausage and peppers, fried oreos, funnel cake, and hot cocoa. An assortment of candies and cookies sold in Mr. And Mrs. Claus’s workshop where you meet Santa. The cookies are baked and sold by Mrs. Claus herself, a cute little touch to the aesthetic of Santa’s Village. The food is sure to keep you warm as the sights of joyous faces and Christmas lights keep your spirits warm!

You can purchase tickets through their website (wwinterwonderland.com/) to save time or in person; either way, the visit will cost you $20 per person which is a great price to make family memories this holiday season! Enjoy the adventures and don’t forget to tag Westchester’s Winter Wonderland in your pictures! πŸŽ…πŸΌ
